Off-topic Prayer Request

I have two young co-workers who are going through a very tough time right now. One young lady is facing a second very risky brain surgery next week to correct a congenital defect that she only found out about when she had a devastating stroke … she’s only 23. Now, her Mom has been diagnosed with the same disorder (because she just had a stroke, too!) My other friend and her husband had a very high-risk twin pregnancy that sadly had to be terminated before the babies were anywhere near term. The surgeons were not able to save their son, but their tiny little daughter is fighting hard. Once she is large enough and strong enough, she too will need surgery, and is still facing a long stay in NICU in a hospital about two hours away from home.

Let’s see…cake…more cake…lemonade…& green salad… Reminds me of a friend of mine going into McDonald’s & ordering “2 Big Macs, large fries, & an apple pie…& a large TAB, I’m on a diet.”
