The thermonuclear fusion filtered by our atmosphere is what makes it all twinkly.

Can we get a kajillion watt LED equivalent sun to replace this aging energy inefficient gassy ball of fire ?

And here I thought a Star was an over-the-hill and over-paid gas-bag that people thought could act.

So there’s the heart’s answer to the question as well as the academic answer. It’s good to know both and when to apply each one!

Why does a star have to be “either / or,” could it not also be “both / and” ? Lean to live with Dichotomy.

“In our world," said Eustace, “a star is a huge ball of flaming gas.”Even in your world, my son, that is not what a star is, but only what it is made of.”

Good job Jimbo, teaching him the difference between Reality and the Lies they tell you in school.

At that age there is no difference between fantasy and reality. They are not yet formed well enough to discern the difference.

A star is a miasma of incandescent plasma. Per TMBG and science.

They must love way out in the country because living in the city blanks out all the stars because of all the light as we all know so most of these comic strips that talk about the stars & show them in their strips are just showing us their memories from when they were children & you could still see the stars. I miss it so!

I like the first answer, but I also like the fact that he also gave the “conventional” response.
