Once, in a hotel lobby, I was pouring some coffee for myself and a friend. I asked, “You want cream or sugar?”. His excellent reply, “Good coffee doesn’t need it; bad coffee doesn’t deserve it”.
I could never be a coffee aficionado ~~ can’t wait that long. Definitely had some of that bad coffee and that is a perfect description. ( But I’ll drink it anyway if that’s all there is)
I lately read an interview of the local roaster’s manager. She said that she always feels so sorry, when sees people pouring leftover coffee to sewers. She said that there’s so much work from coffee bean farmers to roasting and delivering…So if there’s no use of all that coffee right away, I let it go cool and later put it into a micro-wave oven…I wouldn’t call that bad coffee, but not-so-good-coffee. If I want really good coffee, I make espresso.

That last coffee is clearly a rebel against the coffee society.

The only thing worse than bad coffee is bad coffee that has been simmering in the pot for 5-6 hours.

Good I have commenters to look more carefully than I. I didn’t even notice the, um, fingering in the last panel.
