I broke either of my arms many diff times, climbing trees, climbing over wrought iron fences with those spikes at the tops and numerous others. I was always being hauled off to the hospital.

There is some great parenting in this strip. A parent that resists the impulse to call their child stupid in the heat of the moment…is a very good parent.

I miss summer shenanigans.

Too small to be sitting in the front seat.

Nah, “Wallace the Consistent” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.

Oh no, stupid was very much the term my mom would use in the situation. Heck she spoke three languages so I would guess how angry she was based on whether she remembered English!
