I’d like to have snake, spider, and tick proof armor so I can hike through the worst jungle without problems.

It should say bullet-resistant as I’m quite certain a 50-bmg would go through any sheet of glass and plastic that could be moved on wheels.

Part of my education included a belt or a sandal. Now, if I try to educate my child, Ill probably be sent to jail.The law has forgotten the difference between education and abuse.

This was probably drawn before the shootings in Gilroy, CA, but seems pretty appropriate. While such violence is unheard of in my little corner of Idaho, it seems that many other parts of the world find this sort of thing common.

A very timely strip due to what happened at a CA Festival yesterday

Looks like the thing Sponge Bob was riding in on his 20th anniversary show!

I am 68, therefore i appear to have lived in a “free love” bucolic time. NOT SO !. the 50’s were pretty cool, but after i turned 15 in 1965 things were changing fast and violently, the assassinations, the marches, the lynchings, the riots. BUT, for kids it was still a time of fun and safety, no, we did not have to worry about someone shooting up a school, church, or event. We did not have to worry about pedophiles, it was rare, we rode our bikes and played outside and came and went as we pleased and watched black and white tv. The streets were not randomly violent like they are now, people are quicker to want a physical altercation, and they want a copy of the video. And you are right, Kaladin, the next generation may see you as having the best of the best. Hopefully it will all be remembered, because those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it,, look around, and look at history for the last generation, who are saddled with the history of the holocaust on them. such is life.
