Everything explodes in Hollywood movies.

And if you thought the mission would actually be impossible, get ready to sue for false advertising.

I’d say the unicorn would also do that when someone in the movie would say “BLEUCHER!” ;-D

I just saw an exceptionally weird movie called “Rubber,” about a tyre which blows people up.

“Scanners”? – Oh, hats. My bad.

I do like to find obscure movies to watch. They’re often pretty good. The latest was “Danger, Dames & Dangerous Games”. It’s currently on Amazon. I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but my son and I got some good laughs out of it.

Why is Mari providing subtitles for the movie? :D

Thing about movies is, they have their technical / professional side that the critics, um, critique. Then there’s the all-important side of what chords they strike in the viewer. I love some goofy movies that are technically not well-received but they resonate with me for whatever reason. THAT’s the thing about movies, imho. So, you go, Phoebe, and love the Exploding Hat.

If it belonged to a certain great and powerful person, it would probably be doing … hat tricks.

Reminds me of Buddy in “Elf” getting startled by the jack-in-the-box every time.

Dibs on “Startled Whinny” as a band name.

I almost never watch movies. They’re so slow compared to reading, not to mention mostly banal.

Did someone set up us the bomb?
