Years ago an adorable young couple we knew got married on a very hot summer day. They had hired a horse-drawn carriage to bring them to the reception some distance away. It was so hot that, as we were proceeding to the reception on our car, what do we see but the horse, carriage, driver, bride and groom pulled up at a McDonald’s drive-thru getting water for the horse (yes, they did oblige.)

Only 2 hamburgers? A bucket of fries would be good.

What sort of creature is this? Is the bucket of water for it to swim in or is it for the creature to drink?

“Anybody try those Impossible burgers at Carl’s Jr today? They were free, I didn’t. BUT I bet it’s another short lived fad!”
I ate one tonight out of curiosity at Burger King. Quite tasty.
(Just in case it hadn’t been, I bought 4 tacos too. My grandchildren had to try them but wouldn’t even try a piece of the patty. To each his/her own.)
