Lines across my forehead appeared when I was in the 6th grade. One school photographer evidently thought he was doing me a favor by “erasing” the lines one year. Damn photo didn’t look at all like me. After that I instructed the photographers to erase any zits, but don’t tough the wrinkles.
Between today’s intent staring at her dad’s forehead while he reads the paper, and her usual lounging around in her room with Bernice looking at magazines, we can really see how she’s just way too busy to call that Ryder guy about a date. /s
Makes you wonder: out of all the strips she appears in, just what percentage of them actually feature her at school or work? It even feels kinda meta: if it’s so important to her life, why doesn’t it get more focus in the overall story? It’s like even the writer is deliberately trying to contradict her claim. Clearly Jack was right to call her out on her obvious BS.
And of course the only purpose of having a ‘Luann’ in a comic called ‘Luann’ is for her to hurry up and get married and birth them babies. THAT will sure give all of you haterposters a lot to yarp, yarp, yarp about…
The real scary part is that the generation Luann represents does not read print, and is easily subject to being pushed around online, which raises terrifying prospects for the future. I hope though that it will not be as bad as I fear.

good one, Luann, but don’t tick him off further

Frank looks like he’s about to change all the locks the next time Luann leaves the house.

I hope this isn’t motivation for a lot of crappy political opinions. I’d prefer to watch Tiffany trying to harvest some hormones.

How can a LADY who isn’t even a parent tell a DAD JOKE? ;-D

The mystery is made clear thanks to Luann.

Why in the world is Luann telling a dad joke to her dad? It should be the other way around.

Ooo. Have a CARE, Luann. You have a GREAT Dad, I wouldn’t antagonize him if I were you.
You’re LUCKY you have TWO Great parents. Fay, Tiffany, Shannon, Toni, and Gunther DON’T.
And the LAST thing you want, is for Frank to “Transition.” And Nancy to take up with a male version of Ann Eiffel.
Just ask Tiffany………, ;)

I can’t help it if I was born with those lines.

He doesn’t have to read the news. He could choose to do something more positive with his time. Feeling annoyed does not help the world.
