Can’t say I didn’t see this twist coming. The way Phosphene talked about them and the names Quimp gave them, I suspected the little dragons were their kids.

Siring a dragoon* of dragons – that’s something to make those other knights appear as wimps.

*I imagine this is the collective form for dragons, much as we have a covey of quail or a gaggle of geese or an odium of politicians (look it up!).

Called it! And now he has a new noble quest. Poor Bob though, what with his pending immolation.

So, an alien deus ex machina to keep the plot going. Or perhaps we should say deus ex Bob. Anyway, it looks as if we have years worth of new quests to keep Quimp alive…and the scribe employed. ;-)

The Empress is probably feeding sandwiches to her great-grandkids right now.

The kids are called “Jarn and Nittles” . . . their great-grandmother is a bibliophile (and sandwich afficianado) . . . hmmmm . . . (ponders the similarity of their names to “Barnes and Nobles”)

Firstly, as predicted, Quimp’s naming of them was a major give-away.Secondly, the amazing thing is that the dragon’s avatar slept with Quimp – it must be love. Finally, Quimp must save the kittens, Phosphene and the world. Now, that is a quest!

Isn’t the king also a dragon? His visage when he looked angry pretty much said that he was one.

It’s all an illusion, he’s knocking at death’s door.
