Oh man. “Little Red Corvette” is extra special to me. Husband came home with a tune stuck in his head, but didn’t know who sang it. All he could say was that it was a popular late 80s/ early 90s song. Asked him to sing it for me. He told me that the chorus was, “Gimme a break, Claudette.” It took me a minute, but when he actually sang it, I said, “That sounds like a Prince song, but not with those words.” Played him “Little Red Corvette,” and he said, “THAT’S IT!!” So now everytime that song comes on the radio, I call him and tell him that “Claudette is on the radio.”

Love Prince’s music, but not in a bumpy green format….ewwww
