Don’t say it is a good day until it is over with.

Funny thing about rain – I’ve seen it rain and when I looked up, I didn’t see clouds directly above me, they were off a little way. But raindrops with no clouds in the sky, well, that does not bode well for our kitty friends.

Today is:

National Banana Split Day. I like bananas and I love ice cream, but I don’t like them together. I’ll pass on the banana splits.

National Kiss and Make Up Day.

National Whiskey Sour Day. No thank you.

National Park Service Founder’s Day

National Secondhand Wardrobe Day. I don’t have a lot of secondhand clothes, but I used to buy about half of my clothes from thrift shops.

To JAY REIDER from yesterday – Sorry, I don’t have a website for playing Mile Bornes on the computer. It was a game CD that I bought. It had just a few card games on it, including Spades, Rook, Cribbage, Hearts, Gin Rummy, Free Parking and Racko. You can play with up to 3 other players. I’m not sure if you can play with actual people, but I used to play a lot of Racko and Hearts with computer players. I haven’t played them in a while though, but talking about it, I’d like to start doing it again.

Hi Marge! It was good seeing you here yesterday. Yes, I’m a night owl and always have been. So it’s a good thing my work shift starts at around 1:00 in the afternoon so I don’t have to get up early in the morning. I really fully intend to get to bed at around 2:30 in the morning, but then I get on the computer and by the time I’m done with the comics and my games and everything, suddenly it’s 3:00. But still, I look at a few more things, then it seems like about 15 minutes later, it’s nearly 4:00. I usually get out of bed at round 10:30 in the morning. It’s a few minutes past 2:00 now, so I guess in about 10 minutes, it’ll be 3:00. That seems to be how it goes.

As much as I loved Chip (my previous avatar), I changed my avatar to show Lovebug, the kitty who has been having so many health issues with recurring ear infections. Right now, she seems to be feeling good. She’s back to sleeping on my bed at night and climbing on my lap now and then. But just a couple weeks ago, she was feeling bad and off-balance and I was afraid that I would lose her and that I’d be burying her while I was on my vacation. But just as my vacation began, she allied back again. I still had some ear drops left and I had started using them again. I have not used them for the pas few days and I hope she’s finally beaten this issue because I don’t have many ear drops left. Vacation is over now and in just ten and a half hours, I have to be back at work.

A busy week means it’s the first time in three days I’ve switched on the computer.

Yes, it’s a beautiful day to get away from angry killer dogs as soon as possible. RUN, KITTIES, RUN!!!!! On another note, saw a hawk while out walking today. Saw a dragonfly later in the day.
