Sounds like a stage he/she is going through.

    I don’t want a rehearsal but I’d like a better script.

My worry is that I don’t seem to be getting top billing.

The existence of the Elephant King there argues against an actual void.

… this is funny because just the other day I was wondering if jazz musicians were really spontaneous or just well rehearsed…

    …we’re lucky the ella-plant isn’t exposing their second head…

…living in the moment will get you criticized everytime but people who[m] can’t…

… Jack Reacher – a Lee Child fictional character- states that the vast majority of Americans claim to be free, but then chain themselves to their jobs…

… ET, an illegal alien if there ever was one, can just phone home and leave…

    …two ET facts…

…you can hear the Jim Carroll Band playing, ‘Those Are People Who Died’ in the background of an early scene…

…and Reese’s Pieces were only used because the M&M manufacturer refused to liecence their product for the film…

…Jesus saves but he could get a better rate at 1st National Bank…

…I have something spontaneous to say…

    …I’ll think of it in a minute…

…didn’t I read this on in Snuffy Smith?….

    …hello? Is this thing on?…

But here I am preaching already, and the show doesn’t start for another hour. I guess I’m done and that’s that for tonight. I’m thinking I need to take a long walk back a couple miles to that last town we played. It’s about an hour, I guess, maybe an hour and a half if I take my time. I made a friend back there. Maybe more than a friend. If things are what I hope they are, I’ll have somebody to help me set up for the shows from now on. Somebody who won’t run away when the weather turns unpleasant. We’ll see what some time to think has done for future plans that center around always staying in one place.

Having a litter a month is all the spontaneity you should be allowed to have.

    Quel paradox!

For, assuredly, you are scripted, drawn, and quartered for publication.

Is this some kind of cosmic joke?
