They used to say water goes down a drain clockwise up here and counterclockwise down there. It was found not to be the case. However tropical storms do make those movements.
I have a little village that started out as a Christmas village that is populated with small bear figurines and small toy bears. We hated to take it down so we now change it seasonally. Last year I found a set of a family of toy bears that are Koalas (yes I know that they are not actually bears). Husband was surprised I wanted it – but something about them made them look like tourists – mom has a baby in scarf over her shoulder and dad in loud checked shirt which screams for a camera. They come into the village in the spring and leave in the fall – our story is that they don’t like the cold, so they summer here and then go home and summer there.

Uh, I don’t think so. Not when the sun is setting around late afternoon and not rising until after 7am…. But then again, it’s the “new” math. LOL.
