Awwwww….
Who could resist Goodnight Moon?
Ahh, child. This is Shel Silverstein’s birthday month. Let us be thankful we had him, albeit for too short a time.
It gets boring in the dungeon. Just don’t read him any stories in which a character says “The King is fink!”
Reading the Giving Tree, while in the custody of the Stealing Fink is an excellent definition of “Irony”
That’s a wonderful book by an incredible author. And a pretty controversial one too.
Is the Spook sitting on Turnkey’s lap?!
Awwww, a moment of friendship….
I know I read that one when I was little. I just do not remember it.
Where is my cow?
Co-dependent.
Aww! <3
I never understood that story. A tree is is taken advantage of, mutilated, and murdered, and it’s happy?
I suppose after a few decades you get used to anything.
nice Silverstein shout-out
Shawshank Redemption might be helpful.
Could also use Silverstein’s photo in the book to scare the little tykes into submission.
I thought he’d wanna hear Papillon.
Well, not that that’s a bad book, but it certainly isn’t soothing…
For anyone interested in books in a similar situation..

When you have a warm lap to read a story why not?
Turnkey’s mother instincts are still intact.
