It should get the caffeine into the blood stream quicker.

Just have to be careful with it…after a certain number of days, germs will form on the IV area and you have to discontinue it because you end up having to getting a fever (from personal experience)

Her doctor told her to stop drinking coffee… she found a loophole.

I’ve never gotten into the habit of drinking coffee, but I know someone who gave it up after having to do without for a while and suffered for it, and she figured anything that anything she depended on that much wasn’t good for her.

One of the doctors with whom I worked always said he was going to hook up an IV. He called it an innocu-latte.

I prefer it with bacon and eggs sunny-side up.

Going to need a lot more than 2 sugars in that amount of coffee!

Still one of my standard comebacks: Can I get you some coffee? Yes, please. just bring it in an I-V bag with a large-bore needle.

That’s how we know that my wife is getting better when she wants a coffee IV.

An IV saves time heating/preparing the coffee and gets the caffeine into the bloodstream directly. So, yeah, it’s a good system for our sweet little addicted green witch….
