    It’s heartwarming to see our dear Andy get all worked up about something which he’s never bought with his own money. :D

    By all means, stay in the unified Europe that was Hitler’s dream, and do it voluntarily.

    Not fully in the loop on Brexit. So Britain wants to leave the European community with a Euro dollar and have their own currency back. Never understood how a sovereign country could give up having its own currency as that is a mark of being a sovereign country, controlling your own economics.

    UK is tired of supporting the rest of EU. They are following the Trump MAGA but as MEGA!

    When people’s pocketbooks are affected, they act and populist clowns who don’t have a clue how to govern get elected to leadership position. Beer in this strip, Rust and Coal Belts in the U.S.

    A disaster worth than death. After all, Andy lives on a fixed income, whatever he can scrounge from Flo.

    Since Andy never buys his own, I guess he’s worried that others will be less likely to buy for him?

    to those young people in the US who say(I heard this on the evening news in a man in the street type interview)“I don’t vote and don’t know anyone my age(23-33)who does vote because Government has nothing to do with me” and there you have it apathy 101. Now tell me again why HS around the nation cancelled Government and Civics classes? Along with turning History & Geography into Social Studies. Its K-12 that shape our citizens, we pay no attention and public education gets worse. The 1% go to challenging private schools while the 99% go to the public schools that teach us just enough to become a wage slave when you grow up.Off the soap box now

    @Number Six

    IF the blind Brexiteers have their sway and GB does pull out of the EU, then not only will Scotland achieve independence, but Northern Ireland will either stop sucking on the English welfare tit and become totally independent, or be absorbed, kicking and screaming into the Republic of Ireland.

    I don’t really understand Brexit, but at the same time, I don’t really like the sound of it either.

    Andy’s home town voted Leave by a big margin and is a safe labour seat. Pro-EU like to spread scare stories.

    Scotland only voted narrowly to stay in the UK because of it’s inclusion in the EU. If England goes ahead with the Brexit mistake, Scotland won’t stay with the UK, they’ll stay with the EU. Andy has lost a lot of brain cells over the years, but not enough to support Brexit.
