Lupin’s timing in seeing Goldie is not good. It keeps happening while Puck is working on saving someone. I like how Georgia is building up Lupin’s dislike of Goldie by having her take his tape recorder. Maybe that was his problem with her irl too. :)
And I’m sure the raccoons bit Goldielocks’s ear when she tried to steal from them too. That explains the little cut off portion of her one ear. Is there no stopping this fiendish thief?
The knee feels pretty good today, and so far there’s no swelling and minimal bruising. Blood sugar is high, but not horrible, so I hope I can avoid any of the major problems usual with such a procedure. I will be taking it easy for the next two days (always good to schedule these things with the weekend), but I will get up and walk around the house often enough to keep it from getting stiff, too. The ice pack was a good idea, and I will re-apply the frozen peas now and then as needed.
Thanks again for all the good wishes and support. I was really nervous about this going in, but you gave me courage when I needed it.
This is Elvis reporting on his investigation on the Great Drawer Conspiracy. I have been working undercover to reveal the dangers of having drawers (and shelves) in your home. Film at 11:00.
Poor Elvis crying for help. Only Pucky the sweety pie is concerned for his buddy….lupin on the other hand is more worried about his tape recorder. Hope Goldie didn’t erase everything. If she did I wouldn’t to see Lupin get his revenge. I have a feeling that Goldie will be able to handle anything the boys throw out there. Watch out Boys
NOW Lupin realizes his tape recorder is missing. Though Goldie is a pretty good athlete, must be practicing for the 100 meter hurdles in Tokyo next year.
Today was the 21st anniversary of the day I brought Jasper home after he jumped through my classroom window. I sure miss my little buddy bear baby boy-boy.
I was right! The last sighting of the small purple house was on May 21, 2019; there was a moving truck in front of it … but those little details were secondary to Elvis’ first contact with a true Mail Man!

Lupin toe beans against the window! And how does Lupin know the orange cat is a she?

Oh, Elvis… Well, with commentary like that, the Woman is bound to be along to resc- ahem, “assist” her brave Elvis any moment now!
It also occurs to me that Lupin literally hasn’t heard a word Puck’s saying, since he’s looking the other way.

Georgia posted a cute video of the boy and girl from 3 years ago watching the Garfield Halloween special.

Oh, Elvis. This is so not dignified!
Meanwhile, Goldie is leaping out!

Lupin is deaf – why does he need a tape recorder? And how would he use it? Inquiring cat lovers want to know!

Nothing wrong with his eyes.
And, Puck? Why are you shouting at Lupin when you know there’s no point?
Robin Harwood about 5 years ago
I fear this portends great woe for the boys. Even greater woe than being stuck in a drawer.

See, I told you Goldielocks cannot be trusted!

Be strong, Elvis. Puck will help.

I feel really bad for poor Elvis.

Two(!) views of the back of Lupin’s head (I just love this. I don’t know why but I do) and toe beanage. What a good day already.
cat19632001 about 5 years ago
Elvis, if you’re going to be a serious contender for the record, you’ve got to get stuck in a drawer at least two – if not three – times a week.

Pucky must realize that when in the throes of a crisis, staying calm is not an option for Elvis.

Oh, Elvis – will you never learn? Yum Yum got stuck in a drawer ONCE, when she was still a kitten. She learned her lesson very quickly, and so did we.
I had pureed some soup for Paul with the immersion blender. I’ll have to haul out the real blender, as it needs even more blending.

G. B. Shaw, in his plays, hammered on the theme that women are smarter than men. It appears that the same is true for female cats.
