I can’t find the reference but when I learned CPR, the classic version for EMS, I was taught to not reach across the throat as it could trigger laryngospasm. I’m 2 for 3. My infant granddaughter went flat on us twice. Infant CPR is special and not usually taught. If you have kids, learn it!
