This is the last Bad Machinery strip. If you want to keep reading my comics, there are lots of places to do that – the GIANT DAYS and BY NIGHT series of books from Boom!Box, the huge archive of my other webcomics at scarygoround.com and bobbins.horse, or my new comic STEEPLE (in print and with new pages Mo-We-Fr at the steeple.church website).
There’s also a follow-up mini-series to Bad Machinery, WICKED THINGS – issue 1 is in comic shops and on ComiXology now!
Thank you all so much for reading, and for commenting – I’ve enjoyed reading the comments from the GoComics community every day, it’s been wonderful to see people so engaged with the stories and characters. And thank you to Shena Wolf and John F. Glynn for being such good hosts at GoComics.
It is nice to see how tall they are compared to the other kids — a perfect way to end before the final three-panel close-up. Thank you for the delightful artwork, the spot-on sound effects, and the excellent combination of ridiculousness and suspense!
The end is a good end. The lifelong friendship is safe and the future looks full of possibilities♡.Thank you Mr John Allison for this incredible comics and thank you GoComics for have made me discover such a great comics artist.
We shall never know whether Blossom will come between them again. Perhaps that uncertainty is for the best. I also wonder whether that dangerous nutter Mildred eventually married Sewerman General Johnson.
Flash forward to 2020. In a Monte Carlo casino a man steps away from the baccarat table, cutting an especially striking figure in his tuxedo that is so elegantly tailored that it doesn’t even bulge over the shoulder holster bearing the Walther PPK. A waiter holding a tray of drinks approaches the man and says, “Your vodka martini, shaken not stirred, just as you requested, Mr. …?”
Just came across this strip a couple of months ago. Fantastic! Of course just found out it ended in March 2020 after going back and reading past strips. Will say with the current timeline for the next 3 years and enjoy the ride, hoping Sir Allison will develop another series to be told in his fascinating style.

Is it ominous that in the final panel where we see Little Claire, she has a fire burning over her head?

What a mundane note to end what was decidedly not a mundane comic on. I love it. :D

Just remember, Lottie: don’t tit about with expense accounts. (Sorry, we needed at least one more.)
