uh oh – the jig is up!

Hair, you will get reported to Bernice.

Wait a minute! Does Bernice restrict these activities in dorm rooms? You can’t play charades? You can’t sing karaoke? You can’t play air guitar? If no one can hear the noise, then what’s the problem?

The only one I see that’s a issue for a normal dormitory is the poker and that’s only if they use real money. I can see why Hair calls her a little dictator R.A.

When I went to school in the 1980s, they had parties in dormitories.

Nobody likes a snitch, Tiff. Especially the school’s quarterback. (Who would never live in a dorm in real life.)

I guess that shows that for all her efforts to stamp down any attempts at fun, Bernice the Dormenführer is still pretty incompetent at her job.

Call me a “stick in the mud” but when I went to college, I was there to learn and NOT to party.

I know blackmail when i smell it. I know Tiffany will use this info against hair to get what she wants.

Look out the window, Tiffany. Check the sky. As the old seafarin’ folks used to say, “Red sky in morning, sailor take warning……….” And, I’m starting to sense a warning.

I think Tiff is simply letting Hair know that he spoke rudely of her friend.

Wow, Tiff actually referred to Bernice as her “friend”. These two have come such a long way. This may just be my opinion, but it seems Tiffany is a lot more In the loop and connected to most of the characters in “Luann” Maybe they should start a spinoff… she seems more relevant with actual depth to her character of late.

I still sense a disturbance in the force. Tiff wondering why she has never heard of it is making me think that she might be starting to feel that she has been missing out. Hopefully, she keeps her nose to the grindstone and stays the course. Literally.

Tiffany hearing the word quarterback is like Craig T. Nelson’s character in “Coach” hearing the word steak.

Fortunately for Hair and his buddies, Bernice apparently stinks at being an R.A.

Looking like Tiffany is showing the effects of a low budget diet and is back to her trim self.

Well, well, well.

After all these years of being “lonely,” Hair comes along and offers Tiffany what she’s been craving since she left High School. To be the center of things in college and maybe the source of attention by being a part of the Campus “IN Crowd.”

Many “folks” are applauding this development as a slice of real college life. BUT, its coming at a critical time. Tiffany, may now have her room and financial situation temporarily under control, but she’s STILL failing Dr. Fabbi’s class. The LAST thing she needs is to be distracted by partying. And Tiffany is no Stranger to hardcore partying. It’s just been awhile since she’s done it. Although I STILL find it difficult to believe that in all these years, NO ONE told Tiffany about THIS “little secret” until today!

And what of Tiff’s new roommate? Will she ALSO be a party animal? Or will she be a practical bookworm? And while Tiffany may not “rat the party crowd out” will the new roomie keep her mouth shut?

Some say this is a “Great Disturbance in the Force.” I think this is more akin to the Snake offering Eve the Apple in the Garden of Eden. Hair being the Snake, Kip Lee the Quarterback being the Apple, and Tiffany being Eve.

Interesting Times are ahead……,

This guy sounds like a scuzz.

Is it just me, or is Tiffany being portrayed as a bit “Thinner” (meaning less Porky than previously?)

Why does tiffany’s weight seem to change depending on her mood?

So “Bernice the R.A.” is now considered a friend. Surely a moderate life change decision from the early Mooney days. But she should be considered a friend by Tiff considering the most recent strips; and Dez too.

Tiff’s new room is in the “party hardy” section of the dorms. Swell. Just swell. All she needs is this kind of distraction at this stage in her character (whatever GnK are proposing that be).

AND we’ve yet to meet the mystery roomie! What will tomorrow bring!?!?

Something tell me that we will see this Kip Lee a day. Maybe he’s an old friend (or better, an enemy) of Jack? Or an old Tiffany’s friend? When we will meet Tiffany’s roommate? It’s Bernice really unaware of this party corner?

I had to work my way through college, so I commuted, but I knew quite a few students who lived dorms, frat houses, or in cheap apartments (used to have those near the big colleges in Chicago, not now though) and I quite a few parties I still remember 50 years later. My thing was I either took the el home, or when I got a working car, I drove home in the wee hours. Had tons of fun, wish I had had a room, oh the coeds!! I think Tiffany will come out of this okay, how? Well this will be either another hanging arc, or it will continue Monday. Hey MD and Luann scholars, how many hanging arcs are we up to now? Challenge question.

I hope she doesn’t become involved in the campus party scene. It will be the last straw for her if she does. She needs to be around people who are serious about learning and a career, like Gunther and Bets. And even Berniece and Dez. I’m concerned she’s getting in over her head moving into this wing of the hall. But hey didn’t Hair cone to a party in Berniece’s room once? And wasn’t Tiffany there, too?

I remember how long it took for Dez to put in an appearance. Will Tiffany’s roommate take as long to show up?

I can see Tiffany’s cleaning up on Bras and Boxers Poker.

Tiffany is going to either report this or get sound proof headphones.

Wow… Tiff counts Bernice as a friend.

Wonder what Tiffany will do with the information? We know she likes parties. I think she will squeeze an invite from Hair and go with him to the party. Funny now that she is down in the trenches with the rest of the coeds in the dorm, out of her former suite, she gets the juicy info and possible invites to underground venues. My only concern is she needs a girl buddy or a gang. It is not safe to go to parties alone. Hope she asks Dez.

Not sure I fully comprehend Hair’s last comment. Is it a statement of fact or a threat?

Tiff once made a statement to Gunther that she “can handle bad boys.” I wonder if this is going to be tested here.

Tiffany seems to be verrrryyy gradually losing weight in strips from the last few months…unless it’s my imagination.

Tiffany will need to give Hair the “brush off” if he overstays his welcome…

Tiffany, the business major, is pondering the new opportunities for the Party noises near the elevator!

Is Hair majoring in General Education (a party degree)?

This is going to be a test of Tiff’s new found maturity whether to partake or not partake and also whether to snitch or not to snitch when the noise interferes with her studying.

On a side note, Tiff has had short, helmet shaped hair for awhile. It was longer in high school.

Greg Evans would never dare depict any college event that resembles what actually goes on in 2019. I kind of think he’s depicting the college events of the 1940s. Remember when Luann was traumatized by that boring party and needed Jack of all people to save her? I guess Boomers can’t handle the reality of a current day college party. Like they raised these special snowflakes, and have given them participation trophies, but let’s face it. Boomers have to admit their own mistakes. Greg is a bad artist and he drew this stupid-looking guy. This is the start of something boring that makes no sense.

looks like Tiff’s new room is in the loud partying end of the floor; her resolve (to stay focused on her degree program) will be tested. So far she passes the test in that she refers to Bernice as her friend, which is nice. But can she stay away from the parties and the kind of attention (from guys) that she has so craved?

I think Tiff is gonna like it there…
