This is a gorgeous moment, and it’s so heartwarming to see it return at last. Sophie said it right – magnificent!

It’s great to see Tommy’s tree.

The colors in this strip are very good. More vibrant than usual. That must be the influence of Tommy and Sophie. They’re such vibrant personalities.

Well first, “Awwwwwwwww”! But the first thing I thought – that “K2” in the first panel can’t be random, can it? It’s one of the things you’re supposed to spot in Bizzaro, along with the upside-down bird, dynamite stick, UFO, fish etc.

Yes, Sophie. Tommy can also make art from found objects. Maybe your technique has rubbed off on him. I am glad that you welcome him into the artistic fold!

My favorite part of Pucky’s Purrfect Christmas Tips! I’m so glad Burt was finally able to restore the footage. I was afraid it was lost and gone forever.

Now, will all you Sophie haters out there finally cut her some slack?

We had a grand belated birthday party at Paul’s mom’s place yesterday, along with a Secret Santa exchange. I have 7/8 of a large chocolate cake left over. Anybody in Barrie or the vicinity, please feel free to drop in for a slice or two.

Tommy, you have surpassed yourself in decorating your Tommybaum. I’m sure Sophie will draw inspiration from it for her next masterpiece.

Lots of inferior screen trouble today – the same thing happened when I read today’s Snow Sez, too.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Peace to everyone (all creatures great and small) this season.

Update: My new job is a Product Manager Assistant at a manufacturing company. They brought me in as temp so I could start last week and help with Inventory. I will be a temp until January 10, when I should become regular full time employee. This period gives them a chance to see me and me a chance to see if I like the position. First time I did this sort of thing, but it seems practical way to evaluate someone.

This is my first time in a manufacturing organization since I was a General Contractor. I interviewed with the CEO and he seemed to like my experience even though I did not come from a manufacturing environment. He showed me a Blueprint and asked if I could interpret it. I looked at it and said it was a lawnmower handle, and the CEO said I was already smarter than the last person they had in for an interview.

So I end the year employed, with two new furr-balls in our lives (Belle and Holly Berry) and the kids doing well, all of which is a really good thing. We will see what the new year brings.

My sincere thoughts to all my friends on the Orb. Thank you for being there for the good and the sad. Sincerely, RS.

If there’s a cat in the world who embodies the Christmas Spirit, it’s Tommy with Puck a very, very close second.

It looks like Sophie was trying to arrange the refrigerator magnets to form the shape of a Christmas tree but realized nothing could match Tommy’s wonderful creation.

I like the way the Tommybaum connects Sophie and Tommy in the last panel. I suspect Sophie would cringe/get tense if they were to hug. (I have a cat who doesn’t like to be touched by anyone or anycat. She’s social, plays, and likes to hang out with company – just don’t try to touch her :)

I wish all kitties were “home”. Strays, ferals, and shelters break my heart. all my kitties have always been rescues and always will be rescues.

On a different note: We are glad you are here too Tommy. Glad you have a home.
