I’d have gone with getting tripped up on the lyrics to the ‘Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg’ version…

True story time. My first paycheck job was a department store gig at Christmas time. One day I was in the toy department and had to listen to the same album play all day without a break. I couldn’t listen to Christmas music for the next 20 years.

Barbra Streisand had a Christmas album with a great “Jingle Bells”. “Upsot??”

Ah. Reform, then.

Hate Jingle Bell Rock!! Worked in a restaurant and every third song was Jingle Bell Rock!! Bah Humbug!

I knew a guy who grew up thinking it was, “One whore, soap, and sleigh”. Explains a lot about him, come to think of it.

That Hall & Oates video is painful to watch. They said interviews they regret doing it and it embarrasses them.

He could consult Dolly from Family Circus.

I liked “Jingle Bell Rock” when it first came out (by Brenda Lee). Now when I hear it – by anyone – it does bad things to my brain. Still like Brenda Lee though.

I find it funny that “Jingle Bells” is one of the most popular Christmas songs, despite never mentioning Christmas anywhere.

I can relate; I’ve had trouble with my imagination ever since I heard “…Dawn we now our gay apparel”…

I never liked Country an Western and had to listen to it all day at the job site in the hot, hot summer of my youth.

Yuck! Poor Monty, with such a depressing childhood. It does help to explain his grown-up self, though….
