Done in enough regulations, and destruction of agencies, damage may not be irreparable, but with court appointments, it will be decades.

Because good things may have happened in America while a criminal was president, said criminal shouldn’t be prosecuted for crimes he committed. Derp! Good thing there’s no law against stupidity or they would have locked me up a long time ago! Derp!

That’s the cool thing about meaningless numbers and statistics, you can make them mean what ever you like.

Maybe you could do a kids book on it, Lester.

    One kindergartener, to another:

“I’m not really six years old. I’m 72 months old, which makes me OLDER than you!”

And the biggest debt in American history. I could live well if I maxed out my credit cards and borrowed myself into a forever debt. We are living on borrowed money—it will have to be repaid. The sad thing is that the common man doesn’t benefit from this at all—it’s all about the top 20%. I don’t care how many jobs there are if they don’t pay a living wage.

One day I hope people will learn that it is not just the economy, unfortunately people are blind to other things when they have money in their pockets- even when some of them have to hold multiple jobs.

This ‘toon represents a very popular view of things….and on the surface, seems right…but only to/for a privileged few…

… ordinary citizen, or president, no matter how much good you do, you do not get a pass on following the law…

…if you are willing to over look things for people you like, and only prosecute those people you oppose…. you do not understand our constitutional government… EVERY office holder is sworn to protect the constitution… there are no mitigating circumstances in constitutional issues.

Wow, the economy went up! Because it grows with time. The economy grew at about the same speed with Obama. It is he who should be thanked. And when it comes to “No new wars”. Abandoning the Kurds and letting the Turks invade is another war.

Continuing swamp in Afghanistan swallowing U.S. servicemen and hundreds of billions of dollars. Increases in mass shootings. Increases in racial violence against those not white and Christian. Crawling in bed with Putin to betray the interests of the U.S. Pulling the U.S. closer and closer to authoritarian government. Gigantic gap in income equality. Regions of the U.S. still devastated and lacking the ability to compete economically. Millions still lacking basic health care. Companies still relocating overseas. Trade war with China kicking farmers in the a*s and dragging down the economy. You should be more singing the blues rather than the praises of Hair Groppenfuror, MLester.

does anyone see a similarity between this so-called prosperity and the era of greedy prosperity before the 1929 crash? If we manage to get rid of this criminal Administration… how long do you think it would take for the RePugliCan’ts to start screaming about the deficit? Or about executive privilege? Or about National emergencies Act? Or the backlog of bills piled up in the Senate because of Massacre Mitch’s inability to get any work done? How long before they start screaming about illegal elections? My bet is day one. The finger-pointing should start on the first day, if they run true to form.

Is that all you got Mike? Go ask the farmers and manufacturers of America how they are doing. What is the average Americans debt load now Mike? Do you have grandkids Mike? How are they going to payoff 22 TRILLION in debt? If we as a country are doing so great why are Americans living shorter lives than the other industrialized nations? Just a few questions for a greedy right wing propaganda comic.

After Hitler became the German Chancellor in 1933, employment improved dramatically, national pride was restored (from the humiliation of the Versailles Treaty), and a multitude of benefits came down upon the German people (except for Jews, Roma, intellectuals, etc.). Hitler had made Germany great again. Twelve years after Hitler took office, Germany was in ruins, the people were starving, and there were more than 3,000,000 killed or wounded. The country was split with a sizable portion coming under the thumb of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.

Let’s pour one out for the “real unemployment rate”, last seen in Chud Nation, Jan. 19, 2017.

It was quite the fascion accessory for right wingers before Trump, and they would joyously deploy it any time the job numbers improved under Obama’s watch, which it did for the majority of his presidency. Since it counts things like underemployment, that number will always be larger than the standard employment rate, which naturally is the entire reason they chose it.

Of course, that number also improved under Obama, tracking alongside normal unemployment rates, and near the end of his 2nd term, was even falling faster than the U-3. But hey, when you’re desperate for footholds, you gotta work with what you got!

Of course Lester is totally ignoring the things that are doing irreparable harm. Though to be fair, he sees some of those things as being positive. Like digging for uranium in our national parks or ignoring the science of climate change.

This is just a continuation of the growth that started during the Obama administration. It has grown despite Rumps effort to kill it with a trade war.
