Good luck with that. Not been a parent but have an awesome godson who we helped raise. Grown ass adult now.

The concept is enough to make Pig’s eyes bug out. It is too true and it never ends.

Before I had kids, I didn’t remember the world as such a dangerous place.

Not to mention picking everything on the ground and putting it into their mouths.

As Julius Caesar said; “Having children is giving hostages to fortune.”

And being a parent never stops, even when they turn 40! It is still your heart going through life and suffering hurt and pain and disappointment and heartbreak and oh God pleaseshut me up now!

That is so perfect!

How should I know? Go ask my wife.

I like the mix of Stephan’s sentimentality and Pig’s naivety.

Pig got “BRAS” = Biological Reproduction Anxiety Syndrome … Croc Power !

My wonderful daughter is beyond description, the troubles of bringing her up in this world is beyond description, yet she is a treasure beyond description!!

I couldn’t raise a kid if my life depended on it.

To borrow from the Peace Corps, being a parent is the toughest job you’ll ever love!

If it’s that awful, then why bother?

Though your nights are always sleepless and your days are never through,

The basic problem with the environment is that we have too many people. Easy to solve that problem, we just need to get rid of about 2/3 of us, anyone care to volunteer?

Raise your children. Sometimes to the soaring heights and sometimes by the scruff of their neck.

If no one had kids, we’d all be better off.

I almost got hit by a car two different times.

Chinese saying : “He who has children gives hostages to Fate!”

It actually helps somewhat if you teach your kids to look out for their own safety. You still worry, but not quite as much.

It’s remembering the stuff you did and going oh s**t.

At the age of somewhat more than 40, my son no longer scares me for his safety. Quite so much.

Give Pig credit, though. He knows what to say to that stupid little heart!

Just about anybody can be a parent or a teacher. However, being a GOOD parent or a teacher is a different story.

Who was it that said, you’re never any happier than your least happy child? It’s true.
