The OK sign IS a gesture for white supremacy and at a cadet academy a few were caught making the sign……to pee or not to pee, wherever….In .France, you have to pay to pee! The aluminum scare is so old…I remember it growing up, and as far as pickles, America is IN a big pickle, run by a sour pickle, in strong brine, with no filter……
Whew! Today’s infomercial is like being back in a college class again! Brain overload. Too much wisdom to assimilate all at once. But at least the words of wisdom come in colors [cue Stones, She’s A Rainbowhttp://tinyurl.com/y5ttjj3y ].
Beware the Surveillance Pickles! Big Green is watching. (Froglandian cybersecurity is, alas, rather weak….)
The “OK” sign is detested in at least some parts of the world, not for racism but because over there it’s sort of like flipping a bird at someone. We were told that “THUMBS UP” was the correct sign for “OK”. I think that’s pretty safe everywhere. And of course in some countries you can’t put one foot atop the other knee while seated, because this shows your shoe bottom and it is an insult.
I had learned to loathe the surveillance pickles. They were everywhere. There was always one watching, no matter where you went. And they were connected to social media. Sneeze into your right elbow and everything was okay. Sneeze into the left and you were exposed as being part of a hate group. It reminded me of that TV gag they used to have when people had broadcast analog TVs. You put it near the TV and you could interfere with the signal at will with the push of a button. You could make people do all sorts of things, like make one seat in a room a no-go zone, just by zapping the picture whenever somebody sat in it. People are superstitious monkeys, and easily controlled. But the surveillance pickles were a step too far. The Elf on the Shelf had been bad enough. This was too much.
