True it’s been a crappy year looking forward to 2020.

The year needed to be drawn-and-quartered before setting afire.

Unfortunately, 2020 is going to be as uncivil as 2016.

Totally agree with Rat! 2019 was the worst year for me.

To paraphrase the Doctor, you can remove the cause, but not the symptom.

For me was a good year : I’m retired from May .

He should have done this to 2016.

Can anyone name a year that they weren’t happy to see end?

A new year is just the same old wine in a new bottle.

Ours are recyclables. No burning necessary.

I mentioned to someone that 2020 was an election year. She said last time, we had a choice between a crazy man and a criminal. I said in 2020, they’re all crazy.

That’s one way to get rid of your old calendar.

I’ll reserve judgement on 2020 until after Nov 3, we’ll know better by then.

I transfer important dates like birthdays onto my paper calendar, but I keep my old calendars in case I need to check on certain events in the past. And, yes, paper calendars are old school, but they work remarkably well for visual references to plan your month.

I think if we all tried to live our lives outside of politics this year we would ALL get along a lot better. And we would probably be happier. We have allowed the ugliness of politics to color all aspects of our lives.

Wow! That’s better than the steel-wool I burnt in my bedroom as a boy of the ’50s.

Are we doing that purge thing again. If so, when does it begin? I have a list.

Remember when we couldn’t wait to get out of 2016? And then wished we had it back?

I’m not pinning my hopes on 2020. Maybe 2021 will be better.

Off topic, but has anyone read the new scythe book? Personally I thought it was quite good, better than the previous ones.

I don’t know why everyone’s complaining. Life is good and I’ve had a fantastic 2019. But, then again, I don’t base my happiness on my political leanings. My 401(k) is booming, my job is great, I’m making more money than ever before and even have more time to enjoy it. I’m looking forward to an even better 2020.

You ain’t seen nothing yet.
