In the sense that the beginning of life on Earth led to Barney & Clyde.

I have that problem, really questioning whether a joke would fall flat with a younger crowd (I’m about ten dog years) or our expanded immigrant population at work. And some have been really inspired.

With a gap of about 1800 years between them, it would be a stretch to say there is a definite causal relationship. Heck, if Athens had won and there had been an Athenian Empire rather than a later Roman Empire, it’s possible that something resembling the Hanseatic League would have arisen on the Baltic coast for similar reasons following the decline of the Athenian Empire.

Or, as the Three Stooges would put it:

“Did the Peloponnesian Wars lead to the Hanseatic League?”

“Did the Peloponnesian Wars lead to the Hanseatic League?”

    “Did they?” ☺

No more so than the Panhellenic Games led to sportswear sponsorships.

I vaguely knew of Eilish and Lizzo, never heard of Kefauver, and know Kelly well.

You’ve done it now. The people who run the Google machine think the internet is broken and have called in people on their day off to track down the bug. They can’t imagine any other reason that Estes Kefauver might be trending.
