In the Movie “The Kids are Allright” the reporter interviewing the WHO mentions that they were playing a big gig downtown and that it paid 300 pounds. Roger Daltery smiled and said yes, while you are watching Pete Townsend and Keith Moon acting like crazed loons behind them in the report.
The reporter then looked over the Hotel and said, so you’re being paid 300 pounds for a 2-day gig, but you caused 800 pounds of damage to your Hotel?
I’m not sure of the actual amounts, but the scene is in the movie.
And I’m sure that’s just the start of the good advice Abby could give Len.
Honestly, I’m not so sure this is going to work out that well for Len. I mean, I guess there’s no real harm in letting him try if he really wants to, but…I dunno. I feel like he’s trying for the wrong reasons.
