Hot feathers really stink. Just dip chicken in hot water for 3 or 4 seconds and presto, easy to pluck. Then singe those tiny thin hairy type feathers. Born and raised on farm. We killed around a 100 fryers end of October for freezer. Killed hogs around Thanksgiving.
