I read The Odyssey around her age. It was actually pretty good! Not as good as The Iliad, of course, but still pretty good.

How’s your comprehension and retention?

She’s still wondering why there’s a book written about a Honda.

LOL! She’s not wrong!

Today she would have all the time in the world to read The Odyssey.

Now read it in the original Ancient Greek!

At the rate she reads, it’ll take her ten years to finish.

THE ODYSSEY is entertaining. Shipwrecks, vengance, sexy women, monsters, and a love story. Not to mention the descriptions like “the wine-dark sea.”

I was going to ask how Paige ever reached high school, but then I remembered Beavis and Butt-head.

Just wait until she’s read the dust jacket.
