I don’t need the color, but I agree that clicking to see a larger version is pointless if the resolution is no better; I could just move my eyes closer if that’s all I wanted. On the previous site the larger version was higher resolution (but don’t worry, it wasn’t large enough to print). Can we have that here? Thanks!
Cool, this used to be on comics.com and moved here it appears. They seem to have picked up from the same date. This is in color which is better, but comics.com at least had the original publish date which really was nice!
I wonder if we will be able to read Peanuts comics from various dates here? At comics.com you could read Peanuts from the time it was first published up until the last day it appeared.
I’m glad Peanuts is here. Just would prefer the black and white (Shulz’s line work is beautiful, and I think color obscures that beauty). I also wish the enlargements stayed crisp. I appreciated both those things about comics.com.
Very glad, though, to see Peanuts in my inbox each morning.
It only appears smaller. It actually is a larger file, with more bytes. The reason it appears smaller is the way you have your screen configured. You might try pressing Ctrl+ and see if that fixes it.
@davidf42, a larger file than what? Zooming a page actually will increase pixelation on any page, especially one that is already pixelated. It’s not the way the page is configured. It’s clearly a smaller file that doesn’t show the artwork off to its potential, which is a shame.
I’m not digging the color, either. Charles Schulz drew the dailies to be in black and white.
I don’t remember to have Peanuts strips munged on the other site (www.comics.com) and didn’t like to see this one. BTW, how did you manage to get the full picture? Is this a feature exclusive for the Genius?

Charlie Brown, in the last panel, is thinking, “Oh, good grief.”

I hope it will also come with someone who will fix the avatar uploader so we can actually see our new avatars.

That’s usually how it works early in the season, Lucy. Of course, in this age of the relief pitcher, there are probably even fewer complete games.

“It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose. It’s about having fun.”
Did they teach that in 1964? Then again, they don’t seem to be having fun.

In yesterday’s Sunday Peanuts strip, GoComics omitted the second panel in order to fit it into the vertical format. Here is the original:

Hobbes, you’re awesome. Where did you get that link from? That’s the way they should show the strip.
And today’s original publish date was March 2, 1964.
And what’s with the color? They should save that for Sunday’s only!!!

Go comics is inferior to the old host of Peanuts, comics.com.
If only Go comics had a decent enlargement option!
And they make it hard to grab comics and send them to friends.

I personally prefer comics.com…but I shall follow Charlie Brown and Snoopy wherever they go =D
