Must be an (old) parent joke. I remember my mother saying this to me in the 1960s. LOL

So this explains why Calvin appeared on all those ‘90s car decals, peeing on competitors’ logos. Bad, indeed.

According to dad they did pay for him. He was a blue light special at K-Mart.

I can tell Calvin “got” the jest from Mom due to his eyebrows, but Hobbs expression in panel 2 could go a couple ways. Either it’s “Good one, Mom!” (& he’s trying not to smile) or hes just trying to figure it out.

He was the blue-light special according to his dad. “Way cheaper, but almost as good.” LOL. (I told that to my youngest when he asked where he came from. He thought that was COOL!)

Nowadays “gifted” is even being applied to kids who are “challenged”. I guess the idea is to mitigate bias. Well folks, how well do we all think it worked? Would honestly like to see your comments.
