Books are better technology. Think about it - there are books that have been around thousands of years without losing “juice”. Plus, you can drop a book with minimal damage, spill things on them and many other things - and they STILL WORK! Amazing technology that book is!
And if you read a good book, and want to share it with a friend, just pass it along. How can you do that with the book you have downloaded on a kindle?
prfesser I must need new glasses. I only see one item which might be a reference to a ‘Bible Quote’. No one says you have to actually open the book and find the quote, or if it is in the comment, that you keep reading. Be careful you don’t get as bad as Madeline Murrey O’Hara who was constantly b++++in’ about the church service on TV on Sunday mornings….sheesh, lady, change the channel.
@Roto13 - remember that when the EMP event hits and that kindle / iPad / MobiReader / whatever is dead, and my dead-tree editions are still in perfectly usable condition………
Not when the book’s out of print and costs 10, 20, 30 times more than the e-edition. (And you end up getting one that someone’s written in, or with missing pages, etc. Been there, done that.)

Have to be careful using words with Baby. He’ll probably pour some OJ on it. I remember using the term “juice” for power too, and I’m only 57.

IPad’s are cool and I love my Kindle, but there’s nothing like the feel of a book and turning pages. The older, the better.
