Interesting double-edged reply. While it is a good philosphical reply it also implies a certain level of superiority over the sender. Very clever strip.
My life occasional puts me in touch with homeless people. Sometimes on a Sunday morning. I see how they look after each other and share what little they have. Everybody knows everybody else and everybody cares about everybody else. They have a much better concept of “Love thy neighbor” than most people sitting the the pews of the churches that surround their park.
When all else is taken from you, all you have left is yourself and others.
Okay, I will take that as a zinger, but for real, a solid engagement of conversation makes a lot of difference. It can be enlightening to both sides, even if no immediate change comes of it.

Be on the lookout for those who need affirmation. It’s not too difficult to recognize them. ;)

As I’ve explained, the stones are hollowed out. The latest, however, is that the holes are sealed with grandma’s leftover Christmas fruitcake.
