My wife and I marries on the 30th of December, and got to claim “Married” for the whole year on our taxes. 3 years later, to the day, our oldest was born, and we got to claim him for the whole year. Sorry, Taxman, not sorry.
I know someone who, after many years of living with his girlfriend, married her (it was a mutual decision) when she got a new job with a great health plan that would also cover him, but only if they were officially “married”.

Harry should have used a PowerPoint presentation, followed by the engagement ring; to win Lola over…

For tax purposes you do not get married at his age.

If you love someone, get married at whatever age you please.

My husband is a great guy but if something happened to him, I would never remarry. I am too independent and prefer my own company.

I don’t think this would make a good marriage… it’s too taxing.
