Not to worry Stantis. Right after the election, the Republican (now the Party of Trump) supreme court will repeal the entire ACA. The Republican health care plan will be realized.

An alert mind would notice that anything/everything subsidized by government always has price increases that outpace general inflation. College and healthcare are the most egregious examples. The producers find that Congress is too stupid to audit its own role in market behaviors.

Let’s see, the more the government intevenes, the more health care costs, and the more the quality and access go down. Hmm, maybe there is a reason why?

For a party that’s always talking about the Bible, you would think they know what it says about greed. Guess not.

Doesn’t seem like I am pinching pennies on healthcare. It’s one of my biggest expenses.

Land sakes! It’s getting so you can’t dive headfirst off a mesa any more without incurring medical expenses.

To be fair, ALL the wealth is located in the top 1%. I would say that Sweden, Denmark or Norway would be ACTUALLY the wealthiest countries because people can AFFORD HEALTHCARE!

    “…we sure pinch pennies…”

There’s that saying, “Penny wise and pound foolish.” Well, that “pound” is currency. In the US, it should be, “Penny wise and dollar foolish.”

Meanwhile, the penny pinchers are pounding us into poverty.

“Efforts to reduce wait times for MRI have focused on increasing the number of diagnostic imaging devices, as Canada lags far behind other countries in this regard. For instance, Japan and the United States have 35.3 and 19.5 MRI units per million population, respectively, whereas Canada has only 4.6” Also, there’s a lot of Canadians that travel to the US for treatment. If it’s so wonderful in Canada why come to the US? “The Fraser Institute, a Canadian public policy think tank, estimates that 52,513 Canadians received non-emergency medical treatment in the U.S. and other countries in 2014, a 25 percent jump from the roughly 41,838 who sought medical care abroad the previous year.”
