National Plant a Flower Day. Well, I already planted a lot of my flowers – 2 full flats of impatiens which are growing under plant lights. I won’t be planting any more flowers today. I will plant my other flowers – marigolds and zinnias outdoors and it’s way too early to do that.
Poor Mickey. I wonder if those stick legs were crunchy.
Yesterday morning I got up, ate, vacuumed, dusted, did some laundry, cleaned the kitchen and both bathrooms, took a shower, sat down to read. Around 10:30, I got up to iron something to wear to the opthomologist in the afternoon and as I was walking past the spare room, I looked in and there was a head with little beady eyeballs looking at me! Scared the beejeesus out of me! He had the quilt pulled all the way up to his chin.
I had no idea Brad had stayed home sick. I saw his belt on the dresser in the morning and thought it was odd but figured he wore a different one. (when he doesn’t feel good, he sleeps in the other room)
He asked if I saw his bag or wallet on the bar. Nope. Never even noticed them.
Well, now he knows I actually DO things during the day. If I had known he was there sleeping, I wouldn’t have run the vacuum throughout the house. He must have been really out of it because he said he didn’t hear it.
My daughter decided today I must stay home for a few weeks. (Tennessee governor declared a state of Emergency here…for very few cases of coronovirus.) No more exercise 3 days a week in the therapy warm pool. No more grocery shopping. (I’m 73 with diabetes and high blood pressure.)So I guess I’ll download a few more books from the library on my Kindle and read….read…read. I’ll still be looking after 2-3 dogs, 1 mini donkey and 1 barn cat. (And hundreds of wild birds on 6 feeders) So it’s not like being stuck in the house with nothing to do. I guess I could learn some chair yoga by watching it on YouTube, for my exercise.
