It seems that Mindy and her indeed had made plans together, but Mysta wouldn’t know anything about them, so she’s not about to cough them up.

On the other hand, if those stolen plans still exist somewhere, maybe Diet Smith’s getting rid of all his plans might not have much effect.

Somewhere, deep inside fake Mysta is corrupt Mindy, waiting to be released from her prison. I really hope that will happen in the next 2 weeks.

Looks like Mysty slipped back into her old speech pattern in P.2. If I didn’t know better, and I seldom do, a ‘working’ torch moving up close to your face can suddenly evoke confessions, even untruths, just to stall the inevitable “facial” that is coming her way. Will this Mysty become an ex person ?

I hope that Elon Musk buys them.

So is Mysta saying she no longer remembers what she did as Mindy? I find this interesting since a couple of weeks back there she was seen (perhaps talking to herself) that she sometimes missed being Mindy.

Always good to see Bribery, one of Gould’s best villains. Posie is dead. Good riddance, although I liked his perfume caper and the rumpus caused by the runaway horse. The “for rent” building in the middle panel is the spitting image of the Harold Washington Library, located at State Street (that great street) and Ida B. Wells Drive. Well done. Pity we can’t see the giant, fierce owls from this vantage point.

Can someone kindly direct me to the original story where Bribery stole some space coupe plans? I don’t remember that. Or is this something new that’s being retro’d into Bribery’s backstory?

The 40s??? OMG..Any relation to what’s going on now and the 40’s Tracy is …well, I don’t know, but obviously the commenter above wasn’t there. BTW..This bit may end when we can go out again..call it a two fer.

Gent and others: We’re on the first Monday of a two week Minute Mystery. For now, Mysta appears to be kidnapped by a thus-far unidentified woman who considers Mindy (whose body Mysta now occupies) a co-conspirator in what was a serious crime.

Back in the day, of course.

Once again, the strip launches into another Minute Mystery after a week of a new story, totally breaking up the narrative flow. Didn’t it ever occur to ANY ONE at the strip to first run a Minute Mystery, then start a new story?

We ( I at least) still have no idea who this looney-tunes lady might be, but she was evidently in cohoots with Mindy if we take her at her word.

Stay focussed, Mysta! Help will come, or an opportunity for escape!
