    Where’s Wally?

She’s got to the point where she would have to make explanations — and doesn’t want to. Not a good sign.

And Alan is observant, isn’t he?

And then, once they finally realize just how significant all those toothbrushes really are, they’ll blame poor Alan for not saying anything earlier.

    Just you wait.

Duffy wants answers……is she responsible for the loss of his brother. He’s got that look again like when he was attacked by that creature…..and he was looking at her……until that toothbrush thing Alan keeps on and on about.xD

One of the kitties should start clawing at that suit. Have her live the rest of her days as a mutant.

Let’s look for a moment at the masterful use of dialog in telling a story. It’s a story that has reached, after many years, an extremely high level of complexity, having to explain all of the preceding mysteries to a point of metaphysical concepts. All hard science and scientific speculation, mixed with dynamics and conflicts between the characters and a mild, comedic sweetening t every regular beat. The writer is telling this mostly through the conversations of the characters, and for me it works absolutely. The is extremely clever writing. Before Endtown, Neathery wrote (and performed and produced) a 23-part comedy radio series, Electromatic Radio. It’s one of the best radio comedy series I know of. I’ve no doubt Neathery’s experience in telling stories through sound only gave him the grounding to be writing masterpieces live the one we have here now.

Well, at least we know the tooth brush industry survived the apocalypse.

    … I like harping on the suit, I know…

    …but…

…if they never take them off…

…does anyone ever know what exactly is under that suit?…

Speaking of suit damage, I’m surprised Duffy hasn’t bored holes into the back of her head covering, yet..

I am wondering if Wally snuck away to look at the light source, or to watch their backs for whatever it was they heard that might be coming up behind them.

I just want him to sit down, bury his head, and quietly ask where his brother is.

OK, these guys entered the lighthouse complex from the outside courtyard area, and Alan (and no one else so far) noticed all of these toothbrushes lying around. Since it seemed likely that the courtyard area was at least somewhat open to the outside, then it might have been possible for all of those toothbrushes to have fallen from the sky, somehow. But now the team is on floor 23 (of 32) in an enclosed space, and Alan, once again, has discovered yet another toothbrush. Which brings up the point that if a person or entity is dropping them, that person has been up there before, and could be coming up again!

We know that the lighthouse was repurposed (the directory in the lobby), So the tooth brushes came from a dentist office that was ransacked at some point. “Laughing gas anyone?”

I’m guessing that Wally got changed into a toothbrush. Given how the story arc is playing out, I’m expecting just about anything.
