And the good news is, she is no longer in need of the latrine.

Could have been worse … could have been a pet ‘pit viper’ …

That must have been one heck of a large spider to open a trapdoor that size…..

Along came a spider and sat down beside her – oops the other way around.

This must have scared the you-know-what out of her.

I put this in the category of an emergency evacuation.

There are not even a dozen people in your world. You couldn’t find a spot?

Latrine’s? I the Corps we used to call that a cat hole. Though we usually had to dig our own. I suppose this is a good reason for a fresh cat hole each time.

This is wrong on SO many levels, the worst being those little motion lines near her butt in panel two!

M & H, Thanks for a great spidereal education: “Ctenizidae is a small family of medium-sized mygalomorph spiders that construct burrows with a cork-like trapdoor made of soil, vegetation and silk. They may be called trapdoor spiders.” Similar to mygalomorph presidents who construct trapdoor lies about viruses. Yeah, I get it…standby to get eaten…
