Look out, Lupin! There’s a new sheriff in town!

Goldie’s well and truly one of the family! Although I can already see Lupin getting ready to insist that she arrest herself as a thief. Aw, Lupin, let her have her moment.

Lupin’s clearly not amused with this development but what will Elvis think? It was his “predicament” that led to the discovery of Pengo by the Boy

It’s easy to hold a grudge when you’re stuck on the News Desk.

I was not sure that credit would be given to Goldie, but I am glad the Children recognized her role. Lupin is stoically reading the news feed even though he hates it.

It’s nigh noon at the Big Pink Coral, where Lawless Lupin is in a showdown against Sheriff Goldie … They have water pistols and itchy trigger fingers … who will be the first to draw??

But while Goldie is working to solve that puzzle, I can assure my thousands of eager fans that I will not be deterred from presenting the next fun-filled installment on time.

Way to go Goldie! From homeless and lonely in late 2019 to being a pillar of the “People’s Apartment” and the kitty cat people and cats alike turn to for honest answers. She’s get my vote for public office! What a lovely saga, too bad we do not hear about real life stories such as this more often!

OFF TOPIC: PAUL

Paul and I had a long discussion with his doctor yesterday. Paul has agreed to radiation therapy IF, and only IF, the treatment will be done in Barrie. The treatment could buy him another 18 months to two years. He told the doctor in no uncertain terms that he has no intention of wasting his spring and summer schlepping a 5-hour round trip to Toronto every day for 4 – 6 weeks. The doctor will see what she can do, considering that he also has lesions on his lungs, which could be treated by radiation in Barrie. We hope to bring him home today, if the community nurse can organize the pumps to regulate his feeding and hydromorphine tubes. His family is planning to visit over the weekend (and Covid-19 be damned, we have all been following all the rules and regulations until now), and we are both looking forward to that.

A quote from Georgia about yesterday’s comic and the Cocoa Boops Cereal “Originally I had 24 hours of writer’s block because the first name that popped into my head for the cereal was “Cocoa Cramps” and it threw me out of it so hard I had to take a break and approach again it with a full night’s sleep. BCN has hit 12,000 followers. At least it was at 12,000 when I just looked. It does on occasion go down.

And I see Lupin is annoyed by this as usual, because it involves Goldie.

Today is, the gods help us, Star Wars Day. Please don’t start—I already have Tom Smith’s incredibly powerful earworm, “Star Wars” running through my head. (“Star Wars, nothing but Star Wars, forty-nine times! …” Don’t get me wrong, I loved the first three movies, still do, but I hated the first two prequels, and lost all interest. I was particularly offended by “metachlorians.” Beyond green? Higher green? Different green? Dehydrated green?

And yes, I’m more or less back. May not be commenting much, as my computer time is still limited, and there is much else to do.
