Yeah… Why is that?

Try washing the dishes (a.k.a. “foreplay”).

I’ve noticed the same thing happens when you tell them to shut up.

You supposed to follow up by telling them they are overreacting, dummy. Listen to the experts!

Now you DO understand them!

Try NOT doing the thing(s) that caused their distress.

Try “calm down” That always works…

YET, when a woman tells a man to “calm down”, he is required to do so. Why is THAT?

I find that keeping my mouth shut is usually the best option.

Funny how that works that way…

“Tell them…?” You might consider another approach. I learned this early from my Sicilian-British Divorce-Paralegal wife (RIP after 58 years).

Step one in understanding: Pay attention to your own observations.
