I hate when that happens…

How is that possible? Older comic strips do not have aspect ratio control.

Should have set it for wide screen.

B.C. has my expression. What the f….? Looks a bit out of place in the prehistoric world. At least make the thing out of stone and wood, Flintstones-style.

Who is the practical jokester who keeps messing with our Aspect Ratio dial?

No matter how you look at it, life’s illusion is just a matter of perspective. – Quantum physics, an electron can be anywhere in the universe, look like anything, until it is observed by an observer, then it instantly settles down into the atomic orbit.

It’s good that they understood the gravity of the situation.

This reminds me that, in the big site redesign that GoComics did a few years ago, they changed how our avatars got displayed. And, even if it wasn’t by changing the aspect ratio, the resulting effect was similar… ☹️

Oh yeah. Like back in the day when there were controls on the TV. Like that little ring around the channel dial. You never hear anyone say “Don’t change that dial. We’ll be right back.” anymore. I don’t miss the old days. I just remember them.

This took me back to some of the early strips penned by Johnny Hart way back when in the late 50’s.

This is an aspect we had totally ignored!

The Seattle Times for several years compressed the daily comics panels sideways, making the figures more skinny. They’ve finally given that up and just made the whole strip teeny-tiny. One reason I read the comics online although I subscribe to the paper.
