Lord, on this holiest of days tell me. Why do my cats rub my ankles as I read GoComics, but when I open the can of food that costs more per pound than porter house steak, they snub it? Is it some Biblical reference? They have triangular head like a serpent, flickering tongues like a serpent, sharp fangs like a serpent, flexible bodies like a serpent, a long never stopping tail like a serpent, and have seduced the woman of my life like a serpent. Coincidence?

OH so cute this strip today! I have a cat that is just like this! Only he doesn’t slap his feeding dish on my face. I call him Little Piglet. AND, I’m female. Maybe, that’s why so many women get “seduced” by cats-they don’t retaliate against US. HEEHEEHEE!

You know, Lewreader, that raises an interesting point. The Bible has many mentions of dogs (mostly unflattering, it’s true), and even of sheep being kept as beloved family pets, but not a single mention of cats. I always thought that curious.

Actually, the Bible is full of references to cats. Don’t you read all those passages about God, the Lord, or the Almighty? All references to cats, of course. At least, that is what my cat told me!

Garfield couldn’t handle his feeling after he got an insult from Jon. That was why Garfield slammed his dishbowl on Jon’s mouth. Mmmmmffffff! Jon better shuts his mouth up from now on. I bet Garfield would say that, 2!
