Nermal has always made me think of those overly cute kittens. The ones who could do absolutely nothing wrong… because they are just so adorable! But they are also the ones with a Think Bubble over their heads that say, “Sometimes I think of murder!”.

But… with a slight twist in Nermal’s case! “Sometimes others think of murdering of me!” (Smirk!)

Garfield is a class act – one way or another.

Nermal is so cute and has those long eyelashes I wonder that he’s a boy kitty. He’s even prettier than Arlene.

I stand by my comment from 2 days ago….

The missing 4th panel is a box on the front step addressed to Abu Dhabi.

I like Nermal. He’s the only character in the strip who can consistently get under Garfield’s skin.

He never seems to learn from his own mistakes so learning from Garfield’s would surely be impossible for him.

Nermal’s just too prideful for his own good. That’s one of the main reasons why Garfield is always bothered by him.

It is much more valuable to learn from your own mistakes than from someone else’s.

This might be a painful kind of class…

Again, I lost my progress on the Garfield CYOA. This time, I was just working on it, and while I was typing, I accidentally pressed the wrong key, and then it sent me back to the previous page. WITHOUT ME COPYING IT. But now, I’m working on it again, and this time, I copied my progress so that when I accidentally exit that page, I could just paste my progress and continue where I left off. ;-)

Bwahahahah Nermal beat me to the punch line. That’s what went through my head when I read the first panel…

Now it’s time for a Garfield Choose Your Own Adventure again! I tell story. You choose answer. Inspired by Dumb Smarto’s Big Nate Choose Your Own Adventure. This will be posted daily, sometimes on Saturdays. I may forget or may not be able to post it in some days, which is OK. So you know from yesterday- I tell you a Garfield-themed story, and you reply your best answer, which affects the story. You have three lives. When we end with a consequence, one life gets taken. Choose wisely! Now let’s! Start!! (or continue, since we already started)

You choose A, stay calm and act normal for now.

You’ve been magically stuck in Garfield’s world, in Garfield’s comic strip! Well, anyways, you’re now in midair again after you attempted to run and leave this neighborhood, and you’re hovering back to the house. But the door has opened by itself from the special power that Paws Inc. created, and you’re about to go inside. You feel scared at first, but you just need to stay calm for now. You went in, and then fell with a plop on the floor. The door closes behind you. You get up to see if the familiar Garfield, or Jon, or Odie, or Liz, or Nermal, or Arlene, or the spider(s) and mouses are in sight. There is nobody here for now, except for the familiar teddy bear Pooky, and the fish in the fish bowl, both on the table, so you sigh of relief. But you should still be quiet. Then you hear a “klik” that startled you, even though it wasn’t loud. Could it be that Jon is coming back from somewhere? Or Garfield? Or somebody else? You quietly walked to the window and checked to see. Nobody is there outside. Or something dropped on the floor? You checked the floor in this room quietly. Nothing’s on the floor. Or Jon’s coming to this room? Garfield? Odie? You don’t hear anything suspicious, except the faucet dripping in the kitchen, or anything that houses do, like the vent running, etc. Continued on the reply comment.

I’m pretty sure this lesson is gonna involve a kitten-shaped hole in the door.

Mr. Davis, I was wondering how you come up with the Idea’s for your comics. I like to make comics but I have trouble coming up with ideas.

I hope Jon keeps a mask on. Apparently, cats can transfer COVID between infected people.

What Nermal really needs is to learn not to antagonize Garfield.

No claws, Garf? You’re slipping, dude!
