I am surprised that someone has not buried a meat cleaver in Ramsey’s head.

Fortunately he was on a station that beeped the F-bomb. I don’t think it would be on BBC America.

He gets bleeped in the UK. Most people have stopped watching him. He’s not on the BBC. The BBC has a much better class of chef. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/chefs

TV seems to turn decent chefs into caricatures of themselves…Gordon Ramsay, Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, etc.

My cat enjoys watching Gordon Ramsey. After the show she shows her affection by rubbing my ankles and swearing.

Watched Gordon do his gig once no need to do it again. I can cook better the he does anyway.

Does this household really need a television set? Does any household?

Mine does, odeliasinone. It’s the only way to watch DVD’s and football games.

Oh Lord, don’t let her get a look at Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations”.

I dunno, Grog. I just bought a big monitor and do it all from the computer. Can’t think of the last time I turned on the TV.

Bob Ames I don’t use my monitor to watch television. For one, I like to be comfortable and not sitting at my desk. Secondly, it makes it hard to do other things on the computer when you’re watching TV. I don’t use my computer to play music either. I have a stereo system for that.

By the way, have you seen any 60” monitors? Or even 37”?

Danae’s real favorite game is Let’s Give Daddy a Headache.

If anyone needs to get rid of a word earworm, you can always start humming the theme from ‘The Banana Splits’. It’s guaranteed to drive everything else from your head… for days possibly.

Ha–that’s funny. (Maybe not so great for Danae to be saying, but funny.)

My TV burned in a house fire in 95,. it took me over a year to get re-established. Some how along the way I lost the TV addiction. I’ve never owned one since and every time I hear about someone like this Ramsay character I have less desire to ever pick it up again :)

PBS has some good television selections IMHO, plus I enjoy the high-def clarity for watching sporting events. :-)

Point of information: GR IS on BBC America, since they’ve been advertising him today during my Star Trek nostalgia fest.

Why anyone would watch an English chef is beyond me. Have you tasted English food? “Boil the salad green for 20 minutes…then add boiled tomaaaahhhhtoes….”

There are some excellent English restaurants. But I can’t stand Gordon Ramsay. What a jerk! Can’t understand why he is so popular. He is on BBC America, but I wish he weren’t. I tend to agree with the writer above about someone burying a meat cleaver in Ramsay’s head! I am not so uptight that I don’t use some colorful language every once in a while, but I see no reason to use the “F” word in every other sentence.

For Danae’s sake, pull the plug. She partakes too much of the tube. Only let her watch Dark Shadows, it’s right up her butt, er ally.

hmm…if danae has just discovered gordon ramsay, maybe we can get her interested in top gear…or maybe doctor who…

@vldazzle Don’t care much for Ramsey, plus how can anyone take him seriously as a “chef” when he was beaten in a cooking contest by Top Gear’s Captain Slow (aka James May)!!!!!
