I can’t drink any alcohol. My parents were both alcoholic and I am sure I would be as well. Better to break the chain than perpetuate it. Neither my wife or daughter drink alcohol and my son only has a beer once in a while. If you can handle it socially, that is fine, but if you NEED a drink, you are walking a slippery slope.
Most beers can be improved by pouring them back into the horse. I’ve always wondered how the beer companies get the horses to relieve themselves into those small bottles…

Premium Import beer is about the same price as premium craft beer. I’ll stick with the imported stuff though; the mouthfeel isn’t as “thick” and tends to use a lot less resources to make.

Yes you are Criticizing.

Of course. Discerning slugs are not going to go for the nasty cheap stuff.

A plan so cunning you can paint whiskers on it and call it a cat.

Premium, imported, craft, it makes no difference… it all tastes like tile cleaner

Janis, Janis, Janis. Splurge on Arlo but get Genesee Cream Ale for the slugs.

Despite opinions to the contrary, I consider a local craft brew superior to any expensive imported beer. Although, I’ve never tried tile cleaner.

Promised to be skunky if it is one of those “premium” green bottled beers from Europe.

I’ve known a few slugs in my lifetime who could do a case without difficulty.

I don’t buy much beer… well… any, any more….
But in my experience, around here, you can’t buy just one bottle or can of cheap beer.
I ran into the same thing one time when I wanted beer to trap fruit flies (which BTW didn’t work).
Why buy a six of Bud or something equally mundane, just for the snails, if no one will drink the other five?
There are places where you can pay a super premium price for one bottle of a fancy import or craft brew for trapping them….
But you might as well buy yourself a 6-pack, for the price of two or three single bottles…
or maybe even a 12-pack, if it was on sale and you like it.
The slugs give you an excuse… even if they’ll only get a …um… a slug of it.

If that green bottle has seen enough sunlight, it’ll smell like a skunk.

If you got to go, drowning in imported beer is not the worst way.

Man those slugs will die happy. Possibly Arlo as well!

I used the cheapist that I could find and it worked very well, slugs and camel-back crickets, plus a couple unidenified things.

Might as well treat the slugs in their last guzzle.

The only time I’ve bought Budweiser is to put out for the slugs.
