If the zoo is designed to allow the multitudes to get within 6 feet of the lions, then it seems there might be an opportunity or two for some opportunistic feeding to occur.
Cats have their own flavor of HIV (FIV?). I don’t think it came from blood transfusions. And I haven’t seen that many felines with spike tracks. Which leaves….. ooh, yuck….
