Mythbusters actually explored whether a ceiling fan could decapitate you. The results were that no it could not but it would give you a serious injury, not to mention the worst headache you ever had.
I remember several years ago I woke up on my day off and decided to stay in bed for a few more minutes. I was looking up at the acoustic ceiling file of my basement bed room and wondered “Why does that ceiling file look like it’s getting closer?” That’s when the falling tile smacked me in the face; “Oh, that’s why.”
So many illiterate left-wingers. They all tested negative – IQ-wise that is. Not one realizes the CDC does not report to Donald Trump Jr. Nor are there truckload of refrigeration trucks carrying away dead bodies (except maybe in NY where Cuomo dictated that COVID patients should be taken to nursing homes and then blamed the CDC for his stupidity). Everything I posted is factual and comes from the CDC, not Fox News like most of the negative replies which are the same thing you hear the ignoranuses on CNN and MSNBC spouting off.

Seems he has also figured the odds of that event happening, and thus, it’s not worth moving.

your mistake, Earl, if the fan does fall upon you
sirbadger over 4 years ago
Time to get a more high powered fan — maybe a bit heavier and 500 revolutions per minute. At least then, he’ll know the answer.

If Earl was the one who installed the fan, that fan very well might fall.

When a ceiling fan stops, the blades actually back up a touch. Try it with a room full of people.

Sword of Damocles perhaps???

It could happen….but highly unlikely….Earl is bored…

Too much bother? Then either ending is sufficient.

It does happen. I was in the ER waiting room one night when a family brought Grandma in with a bloody head.

Shortly after we moved into our home the fan in the family room fell just missing my husband’s feet.

I installed a fan in our bedroom.. And wondered the same thing Earl.

Yesterday I commented that Earl was either very clever or a few bricks short of a full load. Today I’ve decided. It’s the latter.

I really don’t see the connection between this comic and Covid-19. Earl is just too lazy to switch chairs. I understand how he feels—it’s a guy thing.

Chances are slim for any of these scenarios.
