There is a trash can next to the information booth. Do people throw away information?

Some folks really do need parents.

The booth for what (we think) you need to know.

Since Dad’s tattoo career from yesterday was short-lived, giving info/advice with Mom as his business partner was Plan B.

Nevermind six feet. If the guy wearing the backwards-turned ball cap knew that stand was there he probably wouldn’t come within six miles of it.

“Don’t trust anyone over 30!” Remember that?

For every wise couple, you’ll find another screaming at someone at a Walmart because they have been politely asked to wear a face covering.

How empty-nesters cope.

I wonder if they offer gossip. Or where to find the best pot.

In my grade school we were required to have a handkerchief. Every day the teacher assigned a student to walk through the classroom and call out the name of any student who didn’t produce a handkerchief. Wonder how the anti-common-sense-consideration-for-others folks would respond to that.

Its the people who always say “No.”

Leaving home at 18 meant Mom and Dad could no longer tell me what to do. From then on they just gave me advice. I take advice better than I took orders. Odd, that.

Now that I dig deeper into my childhood memories, I recall that we were not only required to carry a handkerchief. One half of our report card was “Conduct.” And “Use of the Handkerchief” was a line item.

I would have thought this was a Wiley Bear scheme with a pit trap in front of the booth.

All answers start with “In my day…”.

What I’d be tempted to try is asking Earl and Edna “Who’s smarter, men or women?”, then stand back and let ’em have at it.

The Folks always spoil my fun by pointing out why the things I’m doing are both stupid and dangerous.

I ran out of useful information years ago.
